Rwanda has been granted the hosting right of the 2023 Women’s Afrobasketball Championship, IREPORT247.com has gathered.
“FIBA has confirmed that the Women’s Afrobasket tournament 2023 will be held in Kigali. We will be signing the hosting agreement in July”, the statement said.
Nigeria’s D’Tigress , the 5 time winners of the tournament has won the 3 previous editions consecutively and will be looking to make it 4 in a row in Kigali come July. The 2023 edition is expected to take place from July 28 to August 6.
