In order to make full use of the state’s comparative advantages in mining and agriculture, a delegation of Spanish traders is scheduled to visit Nasarawa State this year. When he met with Yusuf Jibrin Maianguwa, the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to Governor Abdullahi Sule at the Abuja Liaison Office, yesterday in Abuja, Juan Sell, the Spanish ambassador to Nigeria, revealed this.
The envoy claimed that the traders from Spain wanted to take full advantage of the chances presented by the recently finished Nasarawa First Investment Summit held in Lafia because they were inspired by the enormous accomplishments recorded there.
Juan, who praised the summit for its benefits, also expressed his joy with the Nasarawa Economic Development Strategy (NEDS) document’s rich contents, saying that it will further provide him a thorough understanding of the state, for productive collaboration.
He praised the Nasarawa State Liaison Officer for his dedication, tenacity, and humility in supporting the positive policies and initiatives of Governor Abdullahi Sule, and he urged him to maintain the spirit.
When presenting the NEDS document to the Spanish Ambassador earlier, the SSA to Governor Sule on Abuja Liaison made an appeal to him to support the state governor’s steadfast commitment to make Nasarawa State one of the three fastest-growing economies in Nigeria.
