Mr. Isa Abdulmumin has been appointed as the Acting Director of the Corporate Communications Department by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). Osita Nwanisobi’s leadership will be replaced by Abdulmumin after his Friday retirement.
The CBN’s Corporate Communications Department has housed Deputy Director Abdulmumin since he joined the bank, and he is regarded as the go-to person for managing the bank’s corporate image.
The collaboration and generosity of Abdulmumin’s coworkers in the department, bank, and outside are appreciated.
In 2020, Nwanisobi succeeded Isaac Okorafor. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2011, he served as the Special Assistant to the Deputy Governor for Financial System Stability (FSS).
