There was a light tensity on Saturday at one of the polling units in Edo State 2020 election.
The incident happened where Governor Godwin Obaseki, who is the candidate for the People`s Democratic Party (PDP), is expected to cast his vote.
The incident happened in Oredo Local Government Area of Edo state.
According to report from Nigeria`s Channels TV, the clash was as a result of a misunderstanding between an election observer and a party agent.
The scuffle continues while Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officials were setting up for the 2020 Edo state election.
The party agent was said to have mistaken the election observer for another party agent messing with seats and documents meant for election officials.
As a result, both men engaged in an quarrel as other electorates at the Oredo local government watched.
The situation was quickly brought under control following the intervention of the Edo state security agencies.
