The President Trump tweet that any assault by Iran would be met with a reaction “1,000 times greater in magnitude,” after threat made by Iran terrorist state supreme leader.
US media reports, quoting an anonymous source, said that an alleged plot to kill the US ambassador to South Africa was planned before the presidential election in November.
“According to reports, Iran might be planning an assassination, or assault, against the United States in revenge for the killing of terrorist leader Soleimani,” tweet Trump.
“Any assault by Iran, in any structure, against the United States will be met with an attack on Iran that will be 1,000 times greater in magnitude!”
Relations connecting Tehran and Washington have been on the edge since the Iranian revolution, and have twisted since Trump unilaterally pulled out of a landmark international nuclear deal with Iran in May 2018.
In January, a US drone killed Soleimani in Baghdad, and Washington is pushing to expand an arms ban on Iran that starts to expire in October just as reimposing UN sanctions on the Islamic republic.
The Iranian naval force a week ago said it drove off American aircraft that flew near where military activities were in progress close to the Strait of Hormuz.
The military said three US aircraft were recognized by Iran’s flying corps radars after they entered the nation’s air defence identification zone.
Nevertheless, President Donald Trump tweet erupt in support over his assertion against the leaders of Iran state.
