The 2022 U17 Women’s world cup which takes place in india will see Nigeria participate as one of the 3 african countries representing the continent in this year’s tournament.The flamingos as they are called are currently camping in Turkey in preparation. So far they have played friendly matches against two top women’s turkish clubs sides winning one and losing one. Speaking in an interview, captain of the squad Dah Zossu said they are ready and hope to bring back the trophy.
The flamingos are grouped alongside Germany, Chile and Newzealand in group B and their first game will be against Germany on the eleventh of October.
