Red Bulls Max Verstappen has a chance to make it back to formula 1 drivers championship triumphs in the upcoming Japanese grand prix this comming Sunday after missing the opportunity in the Singapore grand prix this past weekend, his eighth place finish still means he is in a great position to win the championship in japan. He currently leads the way in the drivers standings with 341 points leading into the Japanese grand prix, 104 points clear of ferrari’s Charles Leclerc in second place. Victory in japan will see Verstappen crowned champion if leclerc finishes lower than second
If this happens, it will make him only the third driver after Michael Schumacher (2001 and 2004) and Sebastian Vettel (2011) to secure the crown with four races left.
