Rescue Nigeria Global Network (RNGN), called for the sack of the Independent National Electoral Chairman (INEC) Chairman, Mahmood Yakubu, and zonal coordinators for announcing doctored and already fixed results; warning that the election will either unite or destroy the country.
RNGN said the results announced by the INEC chairman from polling units across the states, including FCT, were already fixed even before the election held. At a meeting on Tuesday evening in Asaba, Delta State, RNGN, however, said Nigeria will be restored to its leading position, with corruption and other vices completely removed.
To this end, the group said Nigerians request that all polling units results be transmitted through the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) urgently to calm nerves. The meeting was attended by representatives from Europe, America, Australia, Africa, Asia and Middle East and national and state coordinators from the 36 states of Nigeria and FCT.
The group further commended Nigerians for standing firmly for democracy by taking part in the February 25th election, and urged Nigerians to disregard INEC’s fixed results.
