HOPE FOR SDP PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE AS 52 DEREGISTERED POLITICAL PARTIES SHOW SUPPORT

Date:

IREPORT247 recently wrote that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), deregistered 52 political parties. Update has it that these political parties have identified with the Presidential Candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Prince Adewole Adebayo, pledging full support.

Registered parties under the umbrella body of Mobilise All Nigerians for Good Governance (MAN), revealed that their aim is to fully support credible candidates that will promote unity, and bring about positive change in Nigeria’s economy. The leader of the group, Dr. Odion Cedrack Okpebholo, said that MAN was formed in March 2019, immediately after the 2019 general elections. MAN includes NGOs, Youths, Civil Societies, and other organizations aside political parties, who work to ensure the progress of the nation.

In Abuja yesterday, leaders of the deregistered parties said their members will register in SDP, and support candidates of the party. They highlighted that Barrister Prince Adewole Adebayo, the Presidential Candidate for SDP, was their preferred candidate for the forthcoming 2023 elections.

The organisation plans to achieve success in their campaign by delegating all members, from national level to ward level, to be card-carrying members of the SDP. Some of MAN’s members will be incorporated into the campaign council for the sole purpose of promoting the SDP Presidential Candidate, because they believe he is the best candidate for the election.
