Lagos State Governor Designates Six Special Advisers

Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Governor of Lagos State, has named six individuals as Special Advisers, outside the Cabinet, to serve in various roles across different ministries.

The announcement was made in a statement on Monday by the Secretary to the State Government, ‘Bimbola Salu-Hundeyin. The newly designated Special Advisers are as follows: Dr. (Mrs) Iyabo Oyeyemi Ayoola will be responsible for Central Internal Audit, Olalekan Hafeez Balogun will oversee Economic Planning and Budget matters, and Akinyemi Ajigbotafę will focus on Community Development.

Additionally, the statement highlighted the appointment of Very Rev. Bukola Adebiyi as the Special Adviser for Christian Religion, Dr. Abdullahi Jębę as the Special Adviser for Muslim Religion, and Ismail Odesanya as the Special Adviser for DAWN Commission and S/W Integration.

The Secretary to the State Government emphasized that these appointments are effective immediately. Salu-Hundeyin extended her congratulations to the newly appointed Special Advisers and urged them to align their efforts with Governor Sanwo-Olu’s vision for a more prosperous Lagos.
