In an official announcement, Olusesan Adebiyi, the newly appointed Permanent Secretary at the State House, formally began his responsibilities in Abuja. With a strong commitment to President Bola Tinubu’s administration, Adebiyi took the opportunity to express his unwavering dedication.

During a handover ceremony, Adebiyi, previously serving at the Federal Ministry of Health, affirmed, “I wholeheartedly pledge my commitment to my homeland. I am determined to contribute my utmost to ensure the administration’s success.” He further assured his faithfulness, hard work, honesty, and dedication to executing every assignment with precision.

Adebiyi encouraged the State House staff to unite as a cohesive team, infused with renewed enthusiasm and unwavering dedication to achieve collective triumph. Expressing his gratitude to his predecessor, Tijjani Umar, Adebiyi acknowledged Umar’s devoted service to the nation. Additionally, he extended congratulations on Umar’s well-deserved retirement, effective August 10, 2023.

In a reflective moment, Tijjani Umar expressed his honor in serving two Presidents – Muhammadu Buhari and Bola Tinubu – throughout his three-year tenure as Permanent Secretary at the State House, spanning from April 5, 2020, to August 10, 2023. Umar took pride in the impact made within the community, emphasizing the lasting benefits of their initiatives.

Umar shared that a memoir chronicling his distinguished career in public service is in the works, promising insights into his experiences and contributions. This news underscores the commitment and dedication of these individuals in their pursuit of public service excellence.
