Dangote Refinery Starts Selling Diesel, IPMAN Confirms

The President of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), Alhaji Abubakar Maigandi, announced that Dangote Petroleum Refinery, with its daily capacity of 650,000 barrels, has begun selling Automotive Gas Oil (diesel).

Maigandi stated that the refinery has set a limit of one million litres of diesel per marketer, ensuring fair distribution.

He revealed plans for IPMAN to engage in discussions with the refinery management to potentially increase allocations to marketers.

The current price of diesel stands at N1,250 per litre, with ongoing talks aimed at reducing it for marketers.

Efforts to corroborate this information with Dangote Group’s Chief Communications Officer, Anthony Chiejina, were unsuccessful as he did not respond to messages or calls.
