LAGOS GOVT REAPPOINTS ONAFOWOTE AS DG

Date:

Mr. Fatai Idowu Onafowote has been reappointed by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to serve a second and final four-year term as Director General of the Lagos State Public Procurement Agency (PPA).

The Head of Service (HoS), Mr. Hakeem Muri-Okunola, signed a letter expressing approbation for the reappointment.

The HoS said the reappointment was in recognition of Onafowote’s “integrity, selfless service and record of impressive performance.”

He hoped the DG would use his vast knowledge to advance the agency’s mission and would continue to uphold the governor’s faith in him.

In December 2018, Onafowote was initially named and confirmed as the organization’s director general for a four-year term. He was employed in the Lagos State public service a little over three decades ago and has served the state in numerous capacities.
