Today, Monday, 3rd of October 2022, Women from different parts of Lagos state staged a solidarity walk in support of the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Lagos women, comprising of traders and professionals alike, were all part of the walk; they marched on the streets with banners; about 90% of them dressed in customized Bola Ahmed Tinubu (BAT) shirts and caps. They marched the streets with chants and songs in favour of the Presidential Aspirant.
However, the action has stirred up mixed reactions from the public. While some commended the move, others express doubts that the walk may be like the case of the Bishops at the unveiling of the running mate: they were bank-rolled to stage the walk.
