LASG DECLARES THE PROPOSED 4TH MAINLAND BRIDGE WILL USHER IN DEVELOPMENT

On Saturday, The Special Adviser (SA) on Works and Infrastructure to the Governor, Mrs. Aramide Adeyoye, declared at a stakeholders’ meeting with some boundary communities in Lagos and Ogun states, that the proposed 4th Mainland Bridge will usher in Development.

Mrs. Adeyoye was represented by Mr. Tokunbo Ajanaku, who sought the support of the stakeholders towards the execution of the 37-kilometre road with 16 routes, adding that three bids were in their final stages. This captured the interest of the communities in mitigating environmental impact.

The meeting held in Isheri Estate, Ogun, and the aim was for the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (EIA) of the proposed 4th Mainland Bridge on Arepo, Opic, Isheri, Igbogbo Baiyeku, Agric-Owutu, Ishawo, Tapa, and other adjoining communities. The intentions behind the proposed 4th Mainland Bridge include making room for expansion, curbing gridlock, and ushering in development to neighbouring communities.
