The casts and crew of Black Panther, aka Wakanda Forever, including Lupita Nyong’o, Winston Duke, Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright, and Tenoch Huerta, landed in Lagos, Nigeria, ahead of its African premiere. This was disclosed in a press conference, hosted by TV personality, IK Osakioduwa and Anele Mdoda, a South African TV presenter.
The premier Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, a sequel to Black Panther, a 2018 superhero movie, was held by the Walt Disney Company in partnership with Film One and Africa International Film Festival, AFRIFF. The movie will be released across cinemas on November 11.
The storyline follows that of the first edition which is the story of the people of Wakanda, who fought to protect their nation from intervening world powers following the death of their king.
Ahead of the November 11 realese, a soundtrack album for the movie has already been released to streaming platforms. The album features songs from renowned music icons all across the world.
