The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has accredited the Bi- Courtney Aviation Services (BASL) Training Academy at Muritala Muhammed Airport (MMA2) to deliver training programs that are pertinent to the industry. The Murtala Muhammed Airport Terminal Two’s aviation training division is called the MMA2 Training Academy. Operating since 2019, the cutting-edge training facility has been accredited as an “Aviation Security Training Provider.”
This is contained in a statement made by Mr. Oluwatosin Onalaja, Head of Corporate Communications at BASL, following a rigorous approval procedure by NCAA regulations. The provision of top-notch training programs and facilities to domestic aviation stakeholders is now part of its extended list of goals.
The MMA2 Training Academy, according to Onalaja, “has excellent teachers and seasoned specialists with a proven track record of protective Aviation security throughout Nigeria. Our highly interactive training programs use current technologies, real-world case studies, and practical applications to deliver the ideal blend of experience, theory, and practice in professional learning.”
Ireport247 gathered that the Academy has three nicely furnished training rooms, each of which can accommodate 20 pupils. The classrooms’ floor layout are movable, and they include virtual classes, business solutions (such as secretarial, printing, and copying), training services, and an uninterruptible power supply. Free WiFi, convenient parking and free refreshments are further advantages.
According to Mr. Abdulfatai Lawal, the MMA2 Academy’s Training Consultant, “the facility offers complete learning solutions for Aviation Security, Aviation Safety, and Behavioural Courses provided in a conducive environment and at the client’s selected place and time.”
Aviation Security Awareness Training, ASTP 123 (Basic), X-Ray Interpretation and Screening, and General Security Culture Training are some of the courses the Academy offers that have received NCAA accreditation.
“MMA2 Training Academy Courses are the most affordable and effective approach to train your team,” said Lawal. We offer both ICAO STP and conventional training courses. The main principles that guided the development of the conventional training courses were organizational goals that are pertinent to the industry.
