Olu Falae, the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) and Minister of Finance, received the staff of office making him the first crowned monarch of Ilu-Abo in Akure North Local Council of Ondo State.

Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, while presenting the instrument of appointment to Olu Falae said the upgrade of the chieftaincy stool of the community was based on the report and recommendation of the Justice Ajama Commission which was set up by the immediate past administration in the state.

The Chief of Staff, Chief Gbenga Ale, who represented Akeredolu appealed to traditional rulers across the state not to allow the upgrade to stir up anarchy, warning against crisis in communities within the state.
