PDP CANDIDATE TO COMMENCE CAMPAIGN FOR GOVERNORSHIP IN LAGOS STATE

Date:

Dr. Abdul-Azeez Adediran, popularly referred to as Jandor, plans to commence campaign for the forthcoming governorship election on Wednesday, October 19 2022. Jandor is the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos state. The campaign will start in Alimosho local government area of Lagos state. Jandor, alongside the members of his team, disclosed that they will tour the 245 wards in the state. He believes that the people should see their governor, and not the one presented to them on the television screen. This was said at a press conference on Sunday, in Lagos state. He also included in his statement that the new 30-year plan (2022-2052), is the exact replica of the last 10 years plan. This means that nothing has changed and the state government has continued to rule with a plan that was not restructured to benefit the state’s present and future economy.

As part of Jandor’s promises to the residents of Lagos state, his government would declare a state of emergency on the education sector, to recruit more teachers, revamp infrastructures, and change the overall set-up of education in Lagos state. He added that he would create an enabling environment to allow businesses thrive, enforce top-notch security in the state, provide transparency and accountability in his first 100 days in office if elected, promote equity, and the rule of law.
