Oghenekaro Etebo has signed a deal with the most successful Turkish football club, Galatasaray.
The versatile midfielder was on his way to Istanbul hours ago to join his new club and before boarding his flight, the player revealed he was certainly joining Galatasary.
On the condition that he passes the required traditional medical, Etebo will be known as a new player of Galatasaray in days to come.
The former Warri Wolves star shares the same agent as another Nigeria international, Henry Onyekuru, who has enjoyed two dissimilar loan spells with Galatasaray in the previous seasons.
For more than three years, Etebo was tested by Galatasaray which attempted to sign him before his move to Stoke City in 2018.
The 24-year-old has seen himself tumble down the hierarchy of midfielders at Stoke City with the appearance of John Obi Mikel and wasn’t associated with any of the Potters pre-season games.
