Super Falcons star Rasheedat Ajibade has been nominated for the October Player of the Month Award at Atletico Madrid Femenino. She was in outstanding form for her club side in October. After a largely unproductive September, the 22 year old striker sparked to life in October as she was involved in five of Atletico Madrid’s twelve goals in October; including her first-ever haul for Atletico Madrid in their 5-0 spanking of Huelva.
Her efforts helped Atletico Madrid Femenino secure eight points from a possible fifteen in the Laliga Femeni. Las Colchoneras recognized her efforts, and she has been nominated for the player of the month for October. Ajibade will contest the prize alongside Ainhoa Moraza, Ludmila Silva, Shei, and Estefania Banini.
The Super Falcons star has struck four goals in seven games for Atletico Madrid Femenino this season. If she continues at her current trajectory, she could beat her season-best of ten league goals in this campaign.
